From the tranquill Isle of Lewis in the Outer Hebrides, Annette Demét formed Wordcatcher Publications in 2005.

The first books published by Wordcatcher Publications revolve around the Western Isles of Scotland with Poetic Tales from the Isle of Lewis, Isle of Skye and St Kilda (all written by Colin Demét).

Wordcatcher covers a diverse area of writing skills from autobiographies to mind, body and spirit, with an essence of poetry throughout the works.

Many people have given reference to the fact that through the Wordcatcher's work, poetry is being revived.  Many have also noted that the work of the Wordcatcher is unique and, once they pick up one of his books, are not able to put it down until they come to the last page!

Quote, 'I have never read anything like this before, this work is unique', Murdo Morrison (Former President of the Robert Burns World Federation).

Murdo was so impressed by the writings of the Wordcatcher that he actually helped with the production of the CD, Pause for Poetic Tales by narrating three of the poems from the books of the series.
